Account information

When you register or log in, we collect your mobile number, name (if provided), and the shop or business name associated with your account.

Business data you enter

This includes products, categories, prices, stock quantities, party (customer and supplier) names and phone numbers, invoices, purchase records, and payment entries that you create inside the application.

Usage information

We may collect information about how you use the application, such as pages visited, features used, and approximate session duration. This is used to improve the product.

Device and browser information

Standard browser metadata such as browser type, operating system, and IP address may be collected automatically when you access the application.

Providing the service

Your account data and business data are used to operate VyaparSakha — including billing, stock management, party ledgers, purchase records, and the public store feature.

Authentication and security

Your mobile number is used to verify your identity through OTP (one-time password) login.

Support and communication

We use your contact details to respond to support requests you send to us via email or WhatsApp.

Product improvement

Aggregated and anonymised usage data may be used to understand how the product is used and to make improvements.

Legal compliance

We may process your data to comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations.

Your data is stored on cloud servers. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These measures include access controls and encrypted data transmission (HTTPS).

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Access to your shop data within the application is controlled by the owner account. Shop owners can grant or restrict access to managers on a per-module basis.

VyaparSakha uses OTP (one-time password) authentication. When you log in, a temporary code is sent to your registered mobile number. This code is valid for a short time only.

We do not store your OTP after it has been verified or expired. Do not share your OTP with anyone, including individuals who claim to be from VyaparSakha support.

Your mobile number is used solely for authentication and support contact. It is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

We do not sell your personal data or business data to third parties.

Service providers

We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the application (for example, cloud hosting or SMS/OTP delivery services). These providers are permitted to use your data only to perform services for us.

Public store feature

If you use the Manage Store feature, certain product information (names, prices, stock status, and photos if enabled) is made publicly visible on your store URL. This is intentional — it is how buyers can see your catalogue. You control which products appear by configuring your store inside the application.

WhatsApp sharing

When you share an invoice or product link via WhatsApp, that information is transmitted through WhatsApp's platform, which has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for how WhatsApp handles data.

Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a lawful request from a government authority.

VyaparSakha may use cookies or similar browser storage to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. These are necessary for the application to function correctly.

We may use third-party analytics tools to understand aggregate usage patterns (for example, which features are used most). Such tools may set their own cookies. Individually identifying information is not intentionally sent to analytics services.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the application.

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

If you wish to delete your account or request deletion of your data, please contact us at the email or phone number listed in the Contact Information section below. We will process your request in a reasonable time.

Some data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion for legal, audit, or dispute resolution purposes, as permitted by applicable law.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, and to request deletion of your data, subject to legal restrictions.

Accuracy of data

You are responsible for ensuring that the business data you enter (such as party names, phone numbers, and product details) is accurate. We do not verify the accuracy of data you input.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and OTPs confidential. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us immediately.

Acceptable use

You agree to use VyaparSakha only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including GST regulations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page.

If the changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by displaying a notice in the application or sending you a message). Continued use of VyaparSakha after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.

We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we handle your data.

Eligibility

The VyaparSakha Referral Program is open to any existing registered user of VyaparSakha. To be eligible to refer others, your own account must be active and in good standing.

How it works

When you share your referral link or contact number with a new user and they register on VyaparSakha, a referral is recorded against your account. The referral is tracked at the time of sign-up.

Reward condition — full onboarding required

A referral reward of ₹500 is credited to the referrer only after the referred shop owner has completed full onboarding on VyaparSakha. Full onboarding means the new user has finished all required setup steps — including setting up their shop profile, adding at least one product or party, and completing any other steps marked as mandatory during the onboarding flow. Partial sign-ups or incomplete onboarding do not qualify for the reward.

Reward payment

Once the referred user has completed full onboarding, the ₹500 reward will be credited to the referrer's account or paid out via the method communicated by VyaparSakha at the time of the program. VyaparSakha reserves the right to update the reward amount or payment method with prior notice.

No self-referral

Self-referrals are not permitted. You may not refer yourself using a different phone number or device. Any attempt to abuse the referral system will result in disqualification and possible account suspension.

Program changes

VyaparSakha reserves the right to modify, pause, or discontinue the Referral Program at any time. Changes will be communicated through the application or this policy page. Rewards already earned before the change will be honoured.
